Permanent Arbitration Courtat the Croatian Chamber of Economy cordially invites you to attend the jubilee conference “20th Croatian Arbitration Days”.
The conference shall take place in Zagrebon 6th and 7th December 2012 in the premises of the Croatian Chamber of Economy, Rooseveltov trg 2.
The conference will be devoted to three major topics: Investment arbitration in Eastern and Central Europe, Arbitration and Corruption and Arbitration in Central and Eastern Europe. The last topic shall further consider two additional subtopics: Amendments to the Croatian Law on Arbitration – Selected Issues and Enforcement of Awards in Local Courts – overview of five jurisdictions. In addition to the speakers at the conference, prominent experts and practitioners from the country and abroad, on the occasion of the 20th conference anniversary, as special guests the audience shall be addressed by, on the first day, Pierre A. Karrer (Switzerland) on the subject of Backstage at Arbitral Tribunals, and on the second day by Werner Melis (Austria) on the subject of Arbitration in Central and Eastern Europe – 20 years of changes.
We will also present the 19th volume of the Croatian Arbitration Yearbook (2012) in which current articles in the field of arbitration and mediation are to be published.
The speakers at this years’ conference shall once again be eminent foreign and domestic experts, theoreticians and practitioners in the field of arbitration.
The conference shall take place in Croatian and English, with professional simultaneous translation.
